The application process for the September 2024 intake of the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program opened on October 15, 2023 and will close on January 15, 2024.

If you are looking for a meaningful, rewarding profession that is life-changing to the people you support, train as an occupational therapist.

Our Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program is a two-year professional master’s degree program, and the only occupational therapy degree program in British Columbia.

Fully accredited by the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT), our graduates are eligible to write the national licensing certification exam upon graduation.

The curriculum is based on a combination of coursework and fieldwork placements, and culminates in the presentation of a paired research project at our annual Capstone Conference. As well as working with a team of friendly, expert faculty and clinical instructors, you will be part of a close-knit and supportive cohort.

There are three cohorts in the distributed program each year (the Vancouver cohort based at the UBC Point Grey campus, the Fraser cohort in Surrey, and the Northern cohort in Prince George) – and you can rank your preferences for location on your application form.
