As a result of tremendous recruitment efforts over the last six months from OSOT staff, search committee panel members, and with support from the Faculty of Medicine, we were able to hire three outstanding faculty members beginning September 1, 2022.
Our very accomplished new faculty are:
- Assistant Professor Dr. Stephanie Glegg
- Assistant Professor Dr. Julia Henderson
- Assistant Professor of Teaching Alexis Davis
All three have “hit the ground running” as they are well connected to the local community in Vancouver and Surrey, have an understanding of the MOT program, and are already involved in teaching.
For the coming academic year all three will be located on the Vancouver Point Grey campus in the OSOT department.
Beginning next summer, the Surrey location for the MOT and MPT (Masters of Physical Therapy) programs is scheduled for occupancy and at that time Alexis will be moving to her permanent office to be the Lead for Fieldwork and Clinical Affairs for the Fraser cohort.
We are delighted to welcome Stephanie, Julia and Alexis to our department.
