
Are you concerned about climate change and do you like the arts?
Participants in this intergenerational study will use eco-conscious, collaborative art-making to explore ways generations can work together to address climate change.
Who can participate?
- Children aged 9 to 12 years old
- Adults aged 60+ years old
- Participants must be able to attend independently
Where and when will the study take place?
Kitsilano Neighbourhood House, August 19-24, 2024
What does taking part in this study involve?
- Children and older adults participate together in 5, free, facilitated, art-making and discussion sessions
- These full-day sessions (9am to 3pm) will take place for one week in August, 2024
- Refreshments will be provided
- We will share our art-making and climate messages through a public sharing event
Why are we doing this study?
- To promote understanding across generations of ways we can collaborate to address climate change
- To create art that educates the public about climate action
