Donna Drynan as UBC Health’s Director of Education
Last year, Donna Drynan joined UBC Health as the Director of Education. She had a long history of working with the team, and, given her extensive experience in curricular design and interprofessional practice, this new role was a natural fit. Read the original announcement from back in November 2020.
As Director of Education, Donna builds on existing strengths in interprofessional education activities at UBC to facilitate innovation in collaborative health education, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of collaborative curricula and practice-based education across UBC’s health and human service programs, on both the Vancouver and Okanagan campuses.
Donna on the role, one year in:
This position offers me opportunities to collaborate and liaise with so many of the incredible faculty, staff and students from the health and Human service programs.
It’s exciting to be able to move ideas into reality when it comes to ensuring our next generation of health care providers are well-prepared for team-based care. I am already pleased by our forward momentum so far.
