The Department of Occupational Science & Occupational Therapy at UBC is currently seeking 2 Lead Clinical Teaching Assistants (CTAs) at our Surrey site to support our Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) program.

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) – May 29, 1-4:00PM at Surrey Site CC1
About the Role:
CTAs play a vital role in helping students develop essential clinical skills. The ASD class will be taught from our Vancouver site and streamed to the Surrey and Prince George sites (16 students in each site). As a Lead CTA in Surrey,you will support student learning by answering questions and guiding a discussion based on case studies to ensure a hands-on, interactive experience. Lead CTA rate $75/hr @ 3hrs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Clinical experience in ASD
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- OSOT Clinical Faculty member
- Availability to support students at the Surrey site during the scheduled class session

Hand Therapy – June 5, 1-4:30PM at Surrey Site CC1
About the Role:
CTAs play a vital role in helping students develop essential clinical skills. The Hand Therapy class will be taught from our Vancouver site and streamed to the Surrey and Prince George sites (16 students in each site). As a Lead CTA in Surrey, you will support student learning by answering questions and guiding a hand splinting activity to ensure a hands-on, interactive experience. Additionally, there will be opportunity to host a client who will share with the students the impact of complex hand injury on participation in daily occupations. Lead CTA rate $75/hr @3.5hrs.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Clinical experience in hand therapy and splinting
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- OSOT Clinical Faculty member
- Availability to support students at the Surrey site during the scheduled class session
